African violets micros are still relatively rare and little cultivated by lovers of violets. They are generally not more than 2'' in diameter and are grown in containers of 1 1/4''.
Miniatures and semi miniatures are increasingly common in the collections of fans of African violets. They take up little space and the work of hybridizers allowed to have very floriferous varieties. The miniatures are grown in pots of 2 1/4'' and should not exceed 6'' diameter to be admitted to the exhibitions of African violets.
For semi-miniature, they are grown in containers 2 1/2'' and must submit a maximum of 8'' to be accepted into an exhibition.
